There is a movement in technology that is attempting to computerize everything and it comes with a built in assumption that this is always good. It is called the Internet of Things. Like the creation of a new drug introduced into the market without testing, we cannot know the side effects until they happen. The computerization of everything will create an autonomy of things. What will they decide? Malignant represents a new genome based on the mutation between nature and machines. This mutation creates a new DNA structural evolution with unknown and unintended consequences in the relationship between nature and machines. Will this evolutionary process make us stronger or will it be like a cancerous infection growing out of our control.
